We'll admit, we were a bit skeptical at first. Who needs another line of cordless tools in another voltage. It seemed redundant and just an attempt by DeWalt to steal customers away from the Makita's and Milwaukee's of the world whose customers demanded slide style, 3.0 aH batteries. Well, re-modelers, carpenters, woodworkers, cabinet installers, electricians, mechanical contractors, plumbers and maintenance professionals alike, will be psyched.
We had a chance to demo the new tools and we're eating our words. DeWalt 20 Volt Max Lithium Ion tools feature a premium line of tools and 1.5 Amp Hour and 3.0 Ah batteries which provide up to 35 percent more run time versus other leading 18 Volt Lithium Ion tools and batteries and are sure to impress you as they did us.
