New Makita Sub-Compact 18V Brushless Series
Makita has just introduced a new smaller, lighter weight line of drills called the Sub-Compact 18V Brushless series. These new drills and impact drivers weigh in under 2.8 pounds and offer a small form factor. Brushless motors increase battery life through higher efficiency, as well as extending the life of the drill itself.
The XFD11ZB Brushless 18V Sub-Compact Drill Driver has a 1/2" chuck capacity and delivers a whopping 350 in. lbs. of torque. Dual LEDs focus light where you need it in low light conditions. The brushless motor provides up to 50% more battery life versus brushed motor drills. At only 6-3/8" long, the XFD11ZB will let you work in tight spaces with ease while reducing fatigue during extended use.
The XDT15ZB Brushless 18V Sub-Compact Impact Driver is a lot of 18-volt power in a tiny package. Weighing in at 2.6 pounds and only 5-5/16" long, this heavy hitter will make quick work of all of your fastener driving. A hefy 1,240 in. lbs of torque drive home large fasteners even in hardwoods.
