Festool Stock Status

We are committed to fulfilling your order as quickly as possible so that you can keep working and making. Unfortunately, all dealers are having issues with stock for Festool products. As a family owned and operated company, we wanted to take the time to explain the situation so that you have the best information along with the best tools. 

Why are most Festool items out of stock?

The majority of Festool's products are manufactured in and distributed from Germany, which has been particularly hard-hit by COVID-19. From supply chain disruptions to lockdowns impeding manufacturing, Festool has been unable to keep up with the pace of orders and requested shipments. This has resulted in all dealers facing disrupted delivery times, cancelled stock orders and unprecedented backorders.

Should I still place an order or wait?

We strongly encourage you to place an order now rather than waiting. As our warehouse gets product, orders will be fulfilled in the order they are received. Order now to be one of the first to receive your order once inventory is back in stock. You are always able to cancel your order at any time.

Is there an expectation of when stocking status will improve?

As of mid-January, Festool does not expect the problem to get better soon. And, it's likely to get worse. Due to the unpredictability of the situation and the impact on our customers, we remain in close communication with Festool so we can get you any updates. For this reason, we encourage you to order now.
