The CT MINI and CT MIDI are Festool's most portable mobile dust extractors. They are compact and light weight, but have enough capacity for common jobsite tasks. The CT MIDI is slightly larger in size, but offers increased capacity for heavier on-site use. Sporting large wheels and double casters, these units can easily negotiate obstacles in the shop or on the worksite. With 130 CFM and only 62 dB (on low setting), these CTs can quickly and quietly remove large amounts of debris, with minimal noise distractions. The integrated hose garage keeps hoses and cords well organized and makes Systainer transport simple and efficient.

If lightweight and portability are your preference, look no further than the Festool CT MINI and CT MIDI. These units have an ample list of standard features and come standard with HEPA filters.  Well-suited for transport in your vehicle and easy enough to carry up ladders or into tight spaces, the CT MINI and CT MIDI prove that great things come in small packages.

Q. How much can you adjust the suction on this model? Is it just different 5 levels to correspond to the 5 different hose sizes listed on the control panel, or do you get wide range of suction within a given hose size?
By Dave |
We have not received inventory yet for this new tool that ships beginning Aug. 1st. But, according to Festool it has 5 levels of suction. Based on one of the videos that we saw, it appeared to be closer to 10-15 levels.
Q. Will be possible to attach a 36m hose to ct midi model 2019..?
By adan |
Yes, you can. We tried it with the new braided hose 36mm X 3.5m (500681) You can also stow it and close the hose garage lid. We also tried it with the older style 36mm X 3.5m hoses. We found the same results as the braided hose. Longer 36mm hoses will...
Q. Why sell filter bags for mini/midi model 2019 like the same size when one suppos to be bigger than the other one.. the same for longlife bags.. I don't catch it yet .. in the old model you can choose mini or midi
By adan |
As far as making one bag for both units that is something Festool decided to do. What I can tell you is that the bag is bigger for the Midi and will fill all of the way. As for the Mini, the bag will fill until it expands to the size of the tray cavity...
Q. What's the tool plug wattage capacity of the Midi? Is it enough to run the OF1400 through it?
By Brad |
You can run any Festool power tool from the plug on the front of the CT dust extractors, including the OF 1400.
Q. It's possible to adapt the 452898 y-piece to run two hoses to the new model 2019 ct midi..
By adan |
Yes, the new 2019 models of the CT MINI and MIDI will accept the Y-adapter and support two hoses. Note that suction will be effected depending on the length of the hoses.
Q. Any accessory to install on the blowing port to disperse the air for ct midi model 2019.. other wise you have a strong blower and all the dust that already is around the vacuum goes everywhere
By adan |
The exhaust port has a vent over it to disperse air coming out. In normal conditions, the position of the port should not affect nearby dust.
Q. Hi, I have owned the original midi for almost 3 yrs. My question is how much does the manual filter cleaning improve the suction? I'm asking because I have only had to replace my filter once. And as a painting contractor I use it on a daily basis with my sander for drywall repairs. One more ? I seen a review video on this vac and he said you cannot just change out the filter, you have to replace the filter with the handle. Thanks in advance.
By mingya |
If you're creating a lot of dust with fine particles, which it sounds like you are, you should see a benefit from using the manual filter cleaning. The filter/handle is a single component. They are replaced in unison.
Q. Does the CT midi work with the table saw
By Carolyn |
This model may not be best for use with a Table saw, as they tend to require a larger diameter hose for best dust extraction.
