This is a tool carrier attachment designed for contractors who want their most-used power tools hanging on the cart or box, not buried inside it.

The carrier attaches to the MODbox side rail system and spans the full rail length. That full-width design is what lets larger tools like circular saws, reciprocating saws and drills sit side by side. Klein rates it for up to 20 lb (9.1 kg), enough to hold two larger power tools at once.

There is more than one job built in. A metal bar, secured with rivets, forms the hanger, and the slots behind the bar are sized for commonly used drivers. Klein also designed integrated storage slots in the back for rafter squares, framing squares and other measuring tools, so the tools that never fit well in a box have a home.

The carrier is hard plastic and metal in orange and gray, measures about 13-3/16" x 3-1/8" x 2" (33.5 x 7.9 x 5.1 cm) and weighs 14.2 oz (0.4 kg). It interconnects with the rest of the MODbox system, and it also works with Klein's wall mounting systems to store larger power tools in a shop or garage.

Who should buy it: carpenters, remodelers, electricians and general contractors running a MODbox setup who want their drill and saw ready at the side of the stack, plus anyone who wants a home for a framing
