The hammer drill is listed at 1,400 in-lbs of torque and 6.9 inches long. Its hammer mode handles brick, block, and concrete, and AutoStop control mode helps protect against over-rotation in a bind-up. The impact driver delivers up to 2,000 in-lbs and 3,900 RPM at 4.47 inches long, with 4-Mode Drive Control and single-handed bit insertion. The kit ships with two M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0 batteries, an M18/M12 charger, a side handle, belt clips, and a blow molded case.

The 48-59-1862S adds two M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC 6.0Ah batteries (48-11-1865) and another 48-59-1812 M18/M12 charger. Milwaukee states these packs deliver 50% more power and run 50% cooler than M18 REDLITHIUM XC packs, with 60% more runtime than an M18 XC5.0 battery. They also provide more power in extreme cold below 0°F (-18°C). Each pack has an onboard fuel gauge, REDLINK Intelligence overload protection, a rubber overmold, and a water protection barrier. The charger has a listed charge time of 60 minutes.

Everything here runs on the Milwaukee M18 platform.
