The Makita Polycrystaline Diamond Tipped Saw Blade is designed to work with 12" miter saws to make cuts in fiber cement materials. The PCD tips make the blade last 30 times longer than a standard carbide tipped blade. Those tips combined with the heat vents allow the blade to last 2.5 times longer than a standard blade.
