Watch Asa Take The "W" at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania 2026

If you want to see the runs by Frameworks Tool Nut team members Asa and Aaron, you can skip to the (Aaron) 1:25:24 mark and (Asa) 2:01:46 mark. Congrats to Asa blazing down the mountain to take 1st place by over two seconds. Aaron took 5th place with an amazing run, as well. Hardline Tasmania was ultimately rained out on Saturday 2/7, so the final results were based on the seeding runs from the day prior. A phenomenal way to start the 2026 season!

The G.O.A.T. Joins Frameworks Racing for 2026

Aaron Gwin

tool-nut-bike-chain.png
Aaron Gwin’s move to Frameworks Racing marks a new chapter for one of downhill mountain biking’s most accomplished riders. Widely considered the most successful American in the sport’s history, Gwin is a five-time UCI Downhill World Cup overall champion with 20+ World Cup race wins, including his legendary chainless victory at Leogang. An eight-time U.S. National Champion, Gwin brings unmatched experience, leadership, and a legacy of winning to the Frameworks Racing program.

Shared Set of Values

This collab hammers home what makes a champ: raw grit, clean tech, and gear you can trust when you’re pinned on a loose, rooty chute. Downhill racers and pros on the job both know — there’s no cutting corners when stakes are high. This collaboration is not just about logos on jerseys—it’s about supporting people who work with their hands and their minds, push limits responsibly, and take pride in doing things the right way. From the job site to the start gate, the connection between tradespeople and elite athletes is built on earned confidence and performance when it matters most.

Built on Skill, Preparation, and Execution

tool-nut-bike-chain.png

Downhill racing and getting sh*t done on the job both demand skill, savvy, and nerves of steel — whether you’re threading a risky line off a drop or

dialing in torque specs before race day. A downhill racer dropping into a steep, technical course relies on preparation, experience, and instinct in much the same way a tradesperson approaches a complex job. In both worlds, success is built long before the moment of execution—through repetition, learning from mistakes, and respect for the tools and environments involved.

Problem-Solving in Dynamic Environments

At their core, both athletes and tradespeople are problem-solvers operating in conditions that are constantly changing. A downhill track evolves with weather, wear, and speed, forcing riders to adapt line choice and technique on the fly. Job sites function the same way. Materials behave differently, plans shift, and unexpected challenges arise. Experience sharpens judgment in both disciplines, turning uncertainty into decisive action.

Respect for Equipment & Tools

tool-nut-bike-chain.png
From slack angles to bottom-out control, DH riders rely on kit that won’t fold when the track spits you into trouble — the same rock-solid dependability tradespeople expect from their tools. When equipment fails, consequences are immediate, reinforcing a shared respect for professional-grade gear. Tool Nut has been the trusted source of tools by pros since 1994. We understand you rely on your tools to get the job done and take your spot on the podium.

You appreciate that same sense of teamwork—coworkers, foremen, and apprentices working together to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
