Shop Power Tools by Brand, Platform, and Job
This Power Tools collection brings together corded and cordless tools from Milwaukee, Makita, DeWALT, Festool, and more. Choosing usually starts with a battery platform, since tools and batteries from one brand work together. Shop the full lines from Milwaukee, Makita, DeWALT, and Festool, or browse by tool type below.

Drills and Drivers
Drills and drivers are the core of most kits. Use drill drivers for holes and general screws, impact drivers for long fasteners, and combo kits to get two or more tools with batteries and a charger in one box.
Saws
Power saws range from cordless chainsaws and pruning saws to 7-1/4-inch circular saws and track saws from Festool and Makita. Makita's 18V X2 LXT (36V) rear handle and standard circular saws run on two 18V batteries for framing cuts.
Woodworking Tools
For furniture and cabinet work, shop sanders like the Festool ETS and ROTEX, routers from Festool and Milwaukee, and joiners including the Festool Domino DF 500 and DF 700.
Batteries and Chargers
Extra packs keep a crew running. Shop batteries and chargers for Milwaukee M12 and M18, Makita 18V LXT, and DeWALT FlexVolt 20V/60V MAX, including 2-packs and high output packs for demanding tools.
Nailers and Air Tools
Cordless nailers, such as the Milwaukee M12 23-gauge pin nailer, skip the hose and compressor for trim work. For shop and production use, browse air tools.
Dust Extraction and Outdoor
Vacuums and dust extractors, including the Festool CT MIDI, connect to sanders and saws for cleaner cuts. For yard and property work, see outdoor power equipment, including cordless chainsaws, blowers, and trimmers.

Power Tools FAQ
Can I use one brand's batteries in another brand's tools?
No. Each brand's batteries fit only its own tools, and often only one platform within that brand. Milwaukee M12 and M18 packs do not interchange. DeWALT FlexVolt batteries work in 20V MAX tools as well as 60V MAX tools. Check the platform before buying a tool-only model.
Should I buy a kit or a tool-only model?
Buy a kit if you are starting a platform and need batteries and a charger. Buy tool-only if you already own batteries for that platform. Tool-only models cost less and keep your kit on one battery system. See cordless combo kits to start.
Corded or cordless?
Cordless tools cover most job site and home work and remove the extension cord. Corded tools still make sense for long run times at a bench, such as plunge saws, routers, and sanders running all day next to a dust extractor.
What is a brushless tool?
Brushless motors use electronic control instead of carbon brushes. They run cooler, waste less energy, and need less maintenance. Most premium cordless lines, such as Milwaukee FUEL and DeWALT brushless 20V MAX, use them.
