What Is Shipping Protection?
Shipping Protection helps cover loss or damage while an order is in transit to the shipping address provided at checkout.
Shipping Protection is not insurance. It does not provide insurance coverage and is not underwritten by an insurance provider. It is a service offered by The Tool Nut to help resolve qualifying shipping issues.
What’s Covered?
Orders with Shipping Protection may be eligible for coverage if, during transit, they are:
Lost, as confirmed by the carrier
Damaged, arriving unusable or significantly impaired
Coverage applies only while the order is in transit.
What’s Not Covered?
Shipping Protection does not cover:
Packages marked as delivered by the carrier (delivery confirmation is considered final)
Theft after delivery
Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses
Delivery delays without loss or damage
Damage occurring after delivery
Normal wear, misuse, or abuse
Orders without Shipping Protection
Claims submitted outside the claim window
