Diamond Blades
Diamond Blades for Masonry, Tile, and Stone
Diamond blades grind through concrete, brick, stone, and tile instead of cutting with teeth. This collection covers Makita X-LOCK blades for angle grinders, Milwaukee DIAMOND MAX and DeWALT blades, Diablo and Husqvarna segmented turbo cut-off discs up to 14 inches, and the DeWALT FLEXVOLT 9-inch wheel. Festool adds DIA blades for the TS 55, TSC 55, and TS 60 track saws, a diamond scoring blade, and a Vecturo Starlock blade for oscillating tools.
What to Look For
- Rim type. Segmented rims cut concrete and masonry fast. Continuous rims give the cleanest edge on ceramic and granite. Turbo rims fall in between.
- Tool fit. Match the arbor to your tool. Makita X-LOCK blades only fit X-LOCK grinders, and Festool DIA blades are sized for specific track saw models.
- Diameter. Grinder blades run 3 to 5 inches here. Cut-off saws take 9, 12, and 14-inch blades for deeper cuts.
- Material. Pick masonry blades for brick and block, and tile blades for porcelain and stone.

Diamond Blades FAQ
Segmented, turbo, or continuous rim?
Segmented blades, such as the Makita E-07238 and Milwaukee 49-93-7025, cut concrete and block quickly with a rougher edge. Continuous rim blades like the Makita E-07406 chip less on tile and granite. Turbo rims, including Milwaukee DIAMOND MAX and the Diablo and Husqvarna discs, balance speed and finish.
Wet or dry cutting?
Many diamond blades cut dry in short passes, letting the blade cool between cuts. Wet cutting controls dust and extends blade life on long cuts. Check the blade marking and your saw before adding water.
