DMT
DMT Diamond Sharpeners
DMT makes diamond sharpening tools for knives, chisels, and other edged tools. The DMT lineup at The Tool Nut currently centers on the DMT FWEF Diafold, a folding double-sided sharpener with an extra-fine side and a fine side. The handles fold over the diamond surface to protect it, which makes it easy to carry in a tool bag or apron.
What to Look For
- Grit pairing. Fine refines an edge after coarser work, and extra-fine hones and polishes it for a keen finish.
- Portability. A folding sharpener travels well for touch-ups on the job, away from a bench stone.
