Festool Systainer3
Choosing a Festool Systainer3 Case
Systainer3 is Festool's current stackable case system. Cases come in M, L, and XXL footprints, and the number in each name is the case height in millimeters. The collection runs from the M 112 to the M 437, the L 237, and the XXL 237 and 337. It also includes Organizer M 89 and L 89 cases with removable containers, Open Top ToolBox cases, a router bit storage case, abrasive storage cases, the SYS3 T-BAG M, and the Systainer3 Cart.
What to Look For
- Footprint. M is the standard size. L is deeper. XXL is wider for long tools and parts.
- Height. Low cases like the M 112 hold bits and blades. Tall cases like the M 437 hold larger tools.
- Lid or open top. Organizers keep small parts sorted. Open Top ToolBox cases give quick access to hand tools.
- Fit-out. Plan inserts and foam when you choose the case.

Festool Systainer3 FAQ
Do Systainer3 cases connect to older T-LOC Systainers?
Festool designed Systainer3 to connect with classic T-LOC Systainers, so you can add Systainer3 cases to an existing stack. Inserts and racking are sized to each system, so buy those to match the case.
What do the numbers in the names mean?
The number is the case height in millimeters. An M 137 is a shallow case for small tools and accessories. An M 337 or M 437 holds larger tools. Organizer 89 cases are the slim cases with removable containers.
