Work Footwear, Socks, and Climbing Gear

This footwear collection covers what goes on and around your feet on the job. CLC slush boots, listed under part numbers R20007 through R20017, keep out mud, rain, and wet concrete. Steel-Flex adds a steel toe overshoe that slips over regular shoes and SoleGUARDZ puncture resistant insoles. For warmth, choose Wiha wool socks in a 2-pack or Klein merino wool thermal socks. Linemen will find Klein Claw pole climbers with ankle straps and a removable gaff guard.

What to Look For

  • Sizing. Slush boots, overshoes, and insoles are sold by size, so order to your boot size, not your shoe size.
  • Protection added. An overshoe adds a steel toe to visitor or occasional footwear. An insole adds puncture resistance inside a boot you already own.
  • Wet conditions. Slush boots keep water and slurry out. Wool socks stay warm when damp.
  • Climbing. Pole climbers need gaff guards for transport and storage.

Buy work footwear at The Tool Nut, a specialty tool store since 1994, with free shipping on most orders and rewards points on every purchase.

Footwear FAQ

Can an overshoe replace safety boots?

An overshoe works for site visits or short tasks where a steel toe is required. For daily wear on a jobsite, follow your employer's footwear rules.

Why wear wool work socks?

Wool holds warmth when wet and handles long days in boots. The Klein merino socks add a cushioned foot bed and seamless toe.
