Kreg 20V Blue Ion Batteries and Chargers
Kreg Ionic Drive tools run on 20V Blue Ion batteries. This collection has the packs and chargers for that platform: 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah, 6.0Ah, and 8.0Ah batteries, a 2.0Ah battery and charger starter kit, and three chargers, the corded fast charger, the dual fast charger, and the super charger.
What to Look For
- Capacity. A 2.0Ah pack keeps a trim router or drill light. The 6.0Ah and 8.0Ah packs give saws and the Rebel joiner longer runtime.
- Starter kit. Tool-only Ionic Drive models need a battery and charger. The starter kit is the simplest way to add both.
- Charging speed. The dual fast charger handles two packs, useful when you run more than one tool.

Which Kreg tools use Blue Ion batteries?
All Kreg 20V Ionic Drive tools, including the Rebel pocket-hole joiner, Edge loose tenon joiner, track saws, circular saws, routers, and drivers. Corded Kreg tools such as the Foreman machine do not use them.
What size battery should I buy?
Buy one high-capacity pack, 6.0Ah or 8.0Ah, for saws and joinery, and keep a 2.0Ah pack for light tools where weight matters. Two packs let one charge while the other works.
