- Platform first. Buy packs for the platform your tools run on. M12 and M18 packs are not interchangeable.

Do I need FORGE or HIGH OUTPUT packs?
Standard CP and XC packs run drills, drivers, and lights well. HIGH OUTPUT and FORGE packs are built for high-draw tools like saws, grinders, and large vacuums. Smaller tools can run them too, with added weight.
What warranty covers Milwaukee M12 and M18 batteries?
Most M18 and M12 REDLITHIUM battery packs carry a 3-year limited warranty, and some packs carry 2 years. Registration is not required. Coverage applies to the original purchaser from an authorized Milwaukee distributor in the US or Canada. Keep your invoice; without it, Milwaukee uses the date code.
