What to Look For

- Deep or standard. Deep sockets reach nuts on long studs and threaded rod.

Why not use chrome sockets on an impact wrench?
Chrome sockets are hard and can crack under repeated impact blows. SHOCKWAVE impact duty sockets are built to take that force. Keep chrome sets for hand ratchets and use impact sockets on any powered impact tool.
What is the INSIDER box ratchet?
The INSIDER is a box-end ratchet that holds its sockets inside the head, which helps on nuts over long bolts and threaded rod. The 8-piece SAE socket set and a 1/2" anvil adapter are listed in this collection.
