Tajima chalk lines snap straight reference lines on floors, decking, sheathing, and walls. What to Look For
- Line thickness. 0.5mm ultra-thin line marks a crisp cut line, while 1.0mm extra bold reads from a distance.

Should I fill my chalk line with chalk or dye?
Use Micro Chalk for layout you will cover, cut, or wipe away. Use Snap Line Dye when the mark has to survive weather or foot traffic. Avoid mixing them in one reel, since dye stays on the line.
Can I replace the line on a Chalk-Rite reel?
Yes. Replacement line comes in ultra-thin, extra bold, and extreme bold versions. Match the line type to the reel and to how fine a mark you need.
