Wera Tool-Check
Wera Tool-Check Bit and Socket Kits
Wera Tool-Check is a compact case that combines a bit ratchet, bits, sockets, and a bitholder, so one box handles both screws and small nuts. Original Tool-Check 1 has 38 pieces. Tool-Check Plus sets have 39 pieces in metric or imperial. Combi 1 has 40 and Automotive 1 is set up for vehicle work. Tool-Check Modular sets come in 21-piece metric, imperial, and Micro versions, with 50-piece Modular kits and a Hex-Plus L-key module. Hinges, adapters, an empty pouch, and foam inserts expand the system.
What to Look For
- Trade fit. Automotive 1 targets vehicle work. Plus and Combi sets suit general maintenance and assembly.
- Metric or imperial. Plus and Modular sets come in both. Match your fasteners.
- Modular. Modular boxes connect with the 9550 hinge and 9549 adapter, so you can build a larger kit over time.
- Micro. The Modular Micro set is for small electronic and precision fasteners.

Wera Tool-Check FAQ
Which Tool-Check set should I start with?
Tool-Check Plus is the common starting point for general maintenance and assembly. Pick Automotive 1 for vehicle work, or a Modular set if you want to add L-keys and more boxes later.
Does the Wera warranty cover Tool-Check sets?
Wera's limited lifetime warranty covers its professional tools against defects in material and workmanship. Bits and bitholders, which make up much of a Tool-Check set, are treated as consumables and are excluded.
