Cadex Nailers

Cadex Pin, Brad, and Cleat Nailers

Cadex builds pneumatic nailers focused on fine fastening. The lineup covers 23-gauge pin nailers in 1-3/8 and 2-3/16 inch lengths with contact, trigger, or double trigger safety, and 21-gauge brad / pin nailers in 1-3/8 and 2-3/16 inch. The V2/18.50 drives 18-gauge nails up to 2 inches, and the V3/20.32FC is a flooring cleat nailer. Many models come in a Systainer, and Cadex compressors in SYS 3 and SYS 4 Systainers plus 21-gauge galvanized brad nails are listed too.

What to Look For

  • Gauge. 23-gauge leaves the smallest hole. 21-gauge adds holding power with a small head. 18-gauge suits trim and casing.
  • Length. 2-3/16 inch models fasten thicker stock and stacked moldings. 1-3/8 inch models stay compact.
  • Safety type. Choose contact, trigger, or double trigger safety based on how you work and your shop rules.
  • Systainer. Systainer versions stack and lock with other Systainer cases on your cart or in the van.

Cadex Nailers FAQ

Why choose a 21-gauge Cadex nailer?

A 21-gauge nail sits between a 23-gauge pin and an 18-gauge brad. It has more holding power than a pin while leaving a smaller hole than a brad, which suits cabinet face frames, moldings, and furniture parts.

Do I need a special compressor for Cadex nailers?

Cadex nailers run on standard shop air. Cadex also offers compact 1HP and 1-1/2HP compressors packed in Systainers. Browse more compressors if you need a larger tank.
