DeWALT POWERSHIFT Concrete Equipment
DeWALT POWERSHIFT is a battery platform for light concrete and compaction equipment that usually runs on gas. The collection includes concrete vibrator kits in standard and backpack styles, a concrete power screed, a forward plate compactor, a 60kg rammer, and a 6-3/8 inch 3-speed core drill with stand. Vibrator shafts come in 1.5, 1.75, 2, and 2.25-inch heads at 7, 10, 16, and 21-foot lengths. The DCBPS0554 battery and DCBPSC0550 charger power the system.
What to Look For
- Shaft head size. Smaller heads fit thin walls and dense rebar; larger heads consolidate wider pours faster.
- Shaft length. Pick a length that reaches the bottom of the form from where the operator stands.
- Vibrator style. The backpack vibrator keeps weight on the shoulders for long pours.
- Extra batteries. A second pack keeps equipment running through a full pour.

Do POWERSHIFT batteries work with 20V MAX or FLEXVOLT tools?
No. POWERSHIFT is its own platform with its own battery and charger. Its equipment does not run on 20V MAX or FLEXVOLT packs, and its battery does not fit those tools.
Can one battery run several POWERSHIFT machines?
Yes. The vibrator, screed, plate compactor, rammer, and core drill all share the same POWERSHIFT battery, so a crew can move one pack between machines.
