What is EVA edge banding adhesive?
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a hot melt glue. The edge bander heats it to a liquid, applies it to the banding, and the bond sets as the glue cools. That lets you move on to trimming soon after the panel leaves the machine.
What do I need after the glue is applied?
Banding is applied slightly oversize, so the overhang has to come off. Flush trimmers, scrapers, and edge routers for that step are in edgeband trimming.
