Choosing a Fein TURBO Dust Extractor
Fein dust extractors are corded wet/dry units built to connect to sanders, saws, and multi-tools and pull dust at the source. The lineup is the TURBO family: the TURBO I in a 5.8-gallon size, the TURBO II in an 8.5-gallon size, and the TURBO II X and TURBO II X AC. Most come as a bare extractor or as a Set, and HEPA versions are offered across the range, up to the TURBO II X AC PRO SET HEPA.
What to Look For
- Capacity. The TURBO I is lighter to carry between rooms. The TURBO II holds more before you empty it.
- Filtration. HEPA models suit fine dust from drywall, sanding, and remodeling work.
- Set or bare unit. Sets add accessories to the extractor. Bare units suit owners who already have hoses and nozzles.
- Consumables. Plan for filter bags and filters sized to TURBO I or TURBO II.

Choose the TURBO I if you move the extractor often and run one tool at a time on smaller jobs. Choose the TURBO II for longer sanding or cutting sessions where the larger 8.5-gallon tank means fewer stops to empty it.
What warranty does Fein offer?
Fein power tools carry a 1-year standard warranty in the US. Registering on my.FEIN within 3 months of purchase extends coverage to 3 years under FEIN PLUS. Coverage is for the original purchaser with the dated receipt and excludes wear parts and heavy industrial use.
