Heat Wave Lazer Face is the line to look at if you want add-on protection or a pair for the kids. The collection includes standard Lazer Face frames, Performance Lazer Face with Z87+ marking, an XL Performance version, and Kids Lazer Face in Bones, Aqua Splash, Stars and Stripes, and Little Trouble X Heat Wave designs. Clip-on Z87+ side shields come in smoke, clear, matte black, and gloss black. Lens options include photochromic, Super Photochromic, Hi-Vis Yellow, clear anti-fog, and a clear blue light blocking lens.
What to Look For
- Side shields. Add them when you need protection from the side. Match standard shields to standard frames and Performance shields to Performance frames.
- Fit. The XL frame suits larger heads. Kids versions are sized down.
- Screen time. The clear blue light blocking lens is made for long hours at a monitor.
- Rating. Most adult frames list Z87 or Z87+. The Kids and some Customs titles do not.

The collection lists separate shields for each. Shields titled "Performance" are for Performance Lazer Face frames. The others are for the standard Lazer Face. Check the frame name before you order.
Are Kids Lazer Face sunglasses safety rated?
The Kids Lazer Face titles do not list a Z87 rating. They are sized-down sunglasses for everyday wear, not rated eye protection for shop work.
