Kreg Pocket Hole

Kreg Pocket-Hole Jigs, Bits, and Screws

This is the full Kreg pocket-hole system. It covers jigs from the R3 and K4 to the K5, 320, and 720PRO, the corded Foreman machine for production work, and the cordless Rebel joiner. Supporting it are Easy-Set and stepped drill bits, Foreman bits with drill guides, square driver bits, face and right angle clamps, and screw kits such as the 675-piece project kit and the 450-count outdoor kit.

What to Look For

  • Volume. A jig and a drill handle weekend projects. The Foreman or Rebel make sense for cabinet runs and repeat work.
  • Material range. Most jigs here handle 1/2-inch to 1-1/2-inch stock. The Micro-Pocket drill guide makes smaller pockets for thinner material.
  • Bit match. Foreman machines use their own bits. Easy-Set bits fit Kreg pocket-hole jigs.
  • Screws. A mixed screw kit is the easiest start. The outdoor kit is weather-resistant for exterior builds.

Kreg Pocket Hole FAQ

Coarse or fine thread pocket-hole screws?

Use coarse thread screws in softwoods, plywood, and MDF, where the larger threads hold better. Use fine thread screws in dense hardwoods like oak and maple, where coarse threads can split the wood.

Jig, Foreman, or Rebel?

A jig is the lowest-cost option and works with the drill you own. The Foreman is a corded benchtop machine that drills a pocket with one pull of the handle. The Rebel is a cordless pocket-hole joiner on 20V Ionic Drive batteries.
