Makita Cordless Grease Guns and Caulk Guns
Makita applicators cover two jobs: greasing equipment and dispensing sealant or adhesive. The XPG01 18V LXT grease gun comes tool only or in 2.0Ah and 3.0Ah kits, with grease barrels, 23-5/8 and 47-1/4-inch flexible hoses, and coupler sets. Caulk and adhesive guns come on 18V LXT and 12V max CXT, in 10 oz cartridge, 20 oz barrel, and 29 oz cartridge versions, tool only or as kits.
What to Look For
- Platform. 18V LXT grease and caulk guns share batteries with your other LXT tools. 12V max CXT caulk guns are lighter for overhead beads.
- Hose length. The longer hose reaches fittings on large equipment without moving the gun.
- Cartridge size. 10 oz for standard tubes, 29 oz for large construction adhesive tubes, 20 oz barrel for sausage packs and bulk material.

Is a cordless grease gun worth it over a manual one?
For a few fittings, a manual gun is fine. For fleets, farm equipment, and heavy machinery with many fittings, a cordless gun saves time and hand strain, and you can work one-handed while holding the hose on the fitting.
What warranty covers Makita applicators?
Makita lithium-ion cordless tools carry a 3-year limited warranty, so the cordless grease and caulk guns qualify. Grease barrels, hoses, and couplers are accessories, which Makita's warranty excludes.
