Makita Radios
Makita Job Site Radios and Bluetooth Speakers
Makita job site radios bring music and news to the shop, site, or campsite on the batteries you already run. Many 18V LXT models also accept 12V max CXT packs, such as the XRM06B and XRM09B radios and the XRM08B and XRM11 speakers. The XRM10 adds battery charging. On 40V max XGT, choose the GRM01, GRM02, or GRM03 radios, the GRM04 lantern radio, or the GRM05 speaker, which also takes LXT packs. The RM02 is a compact CXT radio, and the XRM12 and XRM13 combine a radio with an LED lantern.
What to Look For
- Battery compatibility. Pick a model that takes the packs you own. Dual-platform units give more flexibility.
- Radio or speaker. Speakers stream over Bluetooth only. Radios add AM/FM tuning.
- Cordless/corded. Many models plug in when power is available to save battery.
- Lantern models. The XRM12, XRM13, and GRM04 double as area lights.
