Mirka Abranet abrasives use an open mesh instead of paper, so dust pulls through the whole surface into a vacuum rather than through a few holes. This collection covers Abranet hook and loop discs in 3", 5", 6", and 9" sizes, 3" x 5" and 3" x 9" grip sheets for sheet sanders and blocks, Abranet MAX belts for portable belt sanders, Abranet Ace HD discs in coarse grits, assorted grit packs, and a 56-hole pad protector.
What to Look For
- Pad size and shape. Match the disc or sheet to your sander pad. The 9" discs fit wall sanders.
- Grit. Sheets run from P80 to P600. Ace HD discs start at 60 grit for heavy removal.
- Pad protection. A pad saver or protector sits between mesh and pad to reduce hook wear.
- Belt size. MAX belts come in 2-1/2" x 14", 3" x 21", and 4" x 24" sizes.

Do Abranet discs need a hole pattern that matches my sander?
No. Because the whole disc is mesh, dust passes through anywhere on the surface, so you do not have to line up holes. Your sander still needs a hook and loop pad of the same diameter.
What is Abranet Ace HD?
Ace HD is the heavy-duty Abranet disc, listed here in 5" and 6" sizes in 60 and 80 grit. Use it for fast stock removal, then switch to standard Abranet for finer grits.
