Miter Saw Stands

Folding, Rolling, and Rising Miter Saw Stands

A miter saw stand puts the saw at working height with support for long stock. This collection includes folding stands such as the Milwaukee 48-08-0551, Makita WST06 and WST07, and DeWALT DWX723 and DWX724; rolling and gravity-rise stands like the DeWALT DWX726, Bosch T4B, and Makita WST01N; and add-ons such as material stops, extension supports, mounting brackets, and the Milwaukee stand table top. Several Festool Kapex and Makita saws are also sold here as saw-and-stand combos.

What to Look For

  • Transport. Wheeled and gravity-rise stands roll up stairs and into a trailer; folding legs stow flatter.
  • Brackets. Most stands use quick-release brackets. Check that brackets fit your saw base.
  • Extension length. Longer arms support longer boards and trim without a second helper.
  • Combos. Buying a saw-and-stand combo means the brackets match out of the box.

Miter Saw Stands FAQ

Does any stand fit any miter saw?

Universal stands from DeWALT, Bosch, and Makita use adjustable brackets that bolt to most saws. Festool Kapex saws use their own UG stand, so buy that or a Kapex combo for a direct fit.

Folding or gravity-rise stand?

A folding stand is lighter and cheaper. A gravity-rise stand such as the Bosch T4B or Makita WST01N rolls like a dolly and lifts the saw into position, which helps if you move the saw daily.
