Festool Kapex miter stands put the saw at working height and support long stock on both sides. For the KS 120 there is the UG-KA-Set portable stand with extensions and the UG wheeled stand, plus left, right, and paired KA-UG extensions in imperial or metric. For the KS 60 and KSC 60, there are UG underframes, the KS 60 stand set with extensions, an adapter plate, and a metric trimming attachment.
What to Look For
- Saw model. KS 60 and KSC 60 parts are labeled KS 60. The rest are for the KS 120.
- Scale. Extensions are sold in imperial and metric versions. Pick the one that matches your tape.
- Portable or wheeled. The UG-KA-Set is built to carry to the job. The wheeled stand rolls around the shop or site.
- Full set or one side. Buy single left or right extensions to replace or add one side.

The extensions carry a scale for setting stops. Pick imperial if you work in inches and metric if you work in millimeters.
Will a KS 120 stand fit my KSC 60?
Use the parts labeled KS 60, such as the UG-KS 60 underframe, the UG-KA-KS 60 set, and the UG-AD-KS 60 adapter plate. The Kapex saw page lists combos that include a stand.
