Festool Kapex clamping parts hold the stock still and repeat setups on the saw. This collection includes the Kapex clamping kit, two crown stop sets and a crown moulding support board, and Miterfast tools that read an angle and transfer it to the saw. It also has extension wing sets for the KS 120 and KSC 60, a height increaser set and LED light for the KS 60, and a D36 antistatic hose sized for the Kapex.
What to Look For
- Hold-down. The clamping kit locks the workpiece to the table so short and narrow pieces stay put.
- Crown moulding. Crown stops and the support board cradle moulding in its installed position.
- Angles. Miterfast devices measure an inside or outside corner and carry the angle to the saw.
- Saw model. Extension wings, the height increaser, and the light are each labeled for the KS 120 or KS 60 / KSC 60.

How do I cut crown moulding on a Kapex?
Cut it nested against the fence at its installed angle. Crown stops and the support board hold it there so each cut repeats. A Miterfast tool reads corners that are not true.
Do I need extension wings with a stand?
Wings support long stock right next to the saw. A UG stand with extensions supports it farther out. Long trim runs benefit from both.
