Festool Kapex Blades
Festool Kapex Blades for Wood, Laminate, and Metal
Festool Kapex blades are sized for one saw family, so start with your model. For the KS 120, choose from the 60-tooth general purpose blade, the 80-tooth fine crosscut blade, a set of both, the 68-tooth aluminum and plastic blade, and the TF64 laminate/HPL blade. For the KS 60 and KSC 60, there are 36-tooth, 60-tooth wood, 60-tooth laminate/HPL, and 64-tooth metal blades. Amana blades for both saws are here too.
What to Look For
- Saw fit. KS 120 blades and KS 60 / KSC 60 blades are different sizes. Match the title to your saw.
- Tooth count. 36 teeth cut fast for rough work. 60 is general purpose. 80 gives the cleanest crosscuts in trim.
- Material. Use dedicated blades for laminate/HPL, aluminum and plastics, or metal.
- Brand. Festool and Amana both offer wood, laminate, and aluminum blades for the Kapex.

Festool Kapex Blades FAQ
Which Kapex blade should I buy first?
For a KS 120, the 60-tooth and 80-tooth set covers general cutting and finish trim. For a KSC 60, start with the 60-tooth wood blade and add the 36-tooth for faster, rougher cuts.
Can a Kapex cut aluminum?
Use a blade made for it. The 68-tooth aluminum/plastic blade fits the KS 120, the 64-tooth metal blade fits the KSC 60, and Amana offers aluminum/plastic blades for both. Clamp the stock firmly with the Kapex clamping parts.
