Festool Kapex Sliding Compound Miter Saws
The Festool Kapex is a sliding compound miter saw built for trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry. This collection carries three saws: the corded KS 120 in EB and REB versions, the corded KS 60, and the cordless KSC 60 EB that runs on two 18V batteries. Many listings pair the saw with a Kapex stand and extensions, and the right Kapex blade finishes the setup.

Kapex KS 120
The KS 120 is the larger corded Kapex, offered as the EB and REB. It comes alone, with an imperial or metric stand and extensions, or with a 60 and 80-tooth blade set.
Kapex KSC 60 and KS 60
The KSC 60 EB is the cordless dual-18V Kapex, sold as a BASIC tool or in 5.0 and 8.0 kits. The corded KS 60 shares its stand parts. Spare packs are in batteries and chargers.
Kapex Stands
UG stands put the saw at working height and carry long stock on extensions. Buy the stand labeled for your saw: KS 120 or KS 60 / KSC 60.
Kapex Blades
Kapex blades run from 36-tooth to 80-tooth for wood, plus laminate/HPL, aluminum, and metal blades. Festool and Amana both make blades for each saw.
Clamping and Crown
The clamping kit, crown stops, crown support board, and Miterfast angle tools live in Kapex clamping. Extension wings and a KS 60 light are there too.
Dust Collection
Connect the Kapex to a CT dust extractor for cleaner indoor cuts. A Kapex-sized 36mm hose and a replacement extraction boot are in Kapex accessories.

Festool Kapex Miter Saw FAQ
KS 120 or KSC 60?
The KS 120 is the larger corded saw for a shop or a trim crew with power on site. The KSC 60 is the cordless choice for punch lists and rooms without power, and it runs on Festool 18V packs. Blades and stands differ between the two.
Should I buy the saw alone or a stand combo?
Buy a combo if you need a stand anyway. It bundles the saw, UG stand, and extensions in imperial or metric. Buy the saw alone if it will sit on a bench or an MFT/3-Kapex table from Kapex accessories.
Which blade comes first?
For a KS 120, the 60 and 80-tooth set covers most trim and cabinet work. For a KSC 60 or KS 60, start with a 60-tooth wood blade. See Kapex blades for laminate and metal options.
What warranty does Festool offer on the Kapex?
Festool covers new power tools bought from an authorized US dealer with a 3-year limited warranty. Register the Kapex within 30 days of purchase to add warranty all-inclusive service, with free repairs for three years, wear parts such as bearings and seals, and a prepaid shipping label for covered repairs. Saw blades are excluded.
