What to Look For
- Cutterhead. HH models use helical heads, which cut quieter and leave less tear-out than straight knives. The 209HH uses a Byrd cutterhead.
- Electrical. The 60HH and 15HH need 230V single phase. The 54HH, 719T, PM701, and PM2800B are 115/230V.
- Mobility. Matching mobile bases are listed for the 54HH, 60HH, and PJ-882 jointers.
- Abrasives. Stock several grits for the PM2244 so you can step through a sanding sequence.
