For one brad or finish nailer, a 1 to 2.5 gallon hand carry unit like the AB5PLUS or JC10PLUS is enough. Framing with one or two nailers calls for a 2 HP model with a 4 to 5.5 gallon tank. Shops running sanders or several tools at once need a stationary compressor.
Which Rolair compressors are quiet?
The AB5PLUS lists 56dB, the JC10PLUS 60dB, and the JC20 70dB. All three are oil-free, which makes them a good fit for occupied homes and indoor finish work.
What warranty does Rolair offer?
Rolair compressors are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 12 months from initial retail purchase or 18 months from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. Warranty repairs must be done by an authorized Rolair service center, and the purchaser ships the unit prepaid.
