Senco
Senco Nailers, Fasteners, and Auto-Feed Screw Systems
Senco makes fastening tools and the fasteners that go in them. The cordless Fusion line drives nails without a hose or compressor: the F-15 15 gauge finish nailer, F-16S and F-16A angled 16 gauge finish nailers, and the FN55AX 18 gauge brad nailer. The FinishPro 21LXP is a pneumatic 21 gauge micro pinner, and a 1-gallon Senco compressor can run it. Senco also offers 16 gauge 7/16" crown staples, 3" plastic stick framing nails, 23 gauge micro pins, the DS235-AC auto-feed screwdriver, and DuraSpin collated screws for decking and subfloor.
What to Look For
- Cordless or air. Fusion nailers skip the hose for punch lists and trim. The pneumatic 21LXP is light and runs off a small compressor.
- Gauge. 15 and 16 gauge for door and base trim, 18 gauge for casing and small molding, 21 or 23 gauge for pins that barely show.
- Straight or angled. The angled F-16A reaches into corners and tight spots more easily than the straight F-16S.
- Collated screws. Match DuraSpin strips to the DS-series driver for decks and subfloors.

Senco FAQ
What warranty does Senco offer?
New Senco pneumatic and cordless pneumatic tools carry a 5-year limited warranty. Senco cordless batteries and chargers carry 1 year, and air compressors carry 1 year. Registration and a dated sales receipt from the original retail purchaser are required to make a claim. Wear parts like o-rings, seals, and driver blades are excluded.
Which Senco Fusion nailer should I buy first?
For trim carpentry, start with a 16 gauge finish nailer. It handles base, casing, and door trim. Add the FN55AX 18 gauge brad nailer for small molding and the 21LXP micro pinner for delicate pieces.
