Stabila Lasers
Choosing Stabila Lasers for Layout and Grade
Stabila lasers in this collection fall into four groups. LAX cross-line lasers, from the LAX 50 G and LAX 60 G to the 3-plane LAX 600G, project level and plumb lines for interior layout. The LA-5P point laser and LA 180 layout laser transfer points and square lines. LAR rotary lasers, including the LAR 160 G, LAR 300, and dual-slope LAR350, set grade outdoors. The rest are REC and RL receivers, a remote, and the FLS90 floor line system.
What to Look For
- Line, point, or rotary. Line lasers suit cabinets and walls, point lasers transfer plumb, and rotary lasers cover site work.
- Beam color. Green models are easier to see indoors. The LAX 400 is a red beam option.
- Receiver. Outdoors or at distance, a receiver like the REC 300 or REC 500 RG picks up the beam.
- Kit contents. Sets add a pole, tripod, or grade rod. Bare tools suit existing setups.

Stabila Lasers FAQ
Which Stabila laser should I buy for interior work?
A green cross-line laser such as the LAX 50 G or LAX 60 G covers cabinets, tile, and drop ceilings. Step up to the LAX 600G for 360-degree lines on three planes when you lay out whole rooms. The LAX 50 G set with pole mounts floor to ceiling.
What warranty applies to Stabila lasers?
Stabila lists a 2-year warranty for its electronic products. Lasers must be returned to Stabila for evaluation, the customer pays freight to the service center, and proof of purchase is required. Stabila does not name the class for each laser, so confirm the term for a specific model with Stabila.
