Collection: Laser Levels

Whether you’re hanging cabinets, framing walls, installing tile, or tackling a weekend project, the right laser level keeps your lines straight and your guesswork out. Shop top-rated laser levels from trusted brands like Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, and Stabila, featuring cross-line, rotary, and self-leveling laser technology built for pros and DIYers alike. From the jobsite to the workshop, these lasers deliver fast, accurate measurements so you can work smarter, not spend all day chasing crooked lines.

Cross Line, 3-Plane, and Rotary Laser Levels

Laser levels here run from compact cross line lasers to 3-plane 360 lasers and rotary kits with tripods and grade rods. DeWALT has the largest range, followed by Stabila, Milwaukee, and Makita. Accessories such as detectors, target cards, enhancement glasses, and a laser square are listed beside the lasers so you can build a complete kit.

Shop Laser Levels by Brand and Type

DeWALT Laser Levels

The DeWALT lineup includes the DW089K 3-beam line laser, the DCLE34030G 3x360 green laser on 12V or 20V MAX batteries, and the DW074KDT rotary kit. Red and green detectors, glasses, and target cards are sold to match.

Stabila Lasers

Stabila lasers cover layout and site work. Options include the LAX 50 green cross line with pole, the LAX 300 and LAX 600G green line lasers, the LAX 400 red set, the LA 180 layout laser, and the LAR 160 G and LAR350 rotary kits.

Milwaukee Laser Levels

Milwaukee offers green lasers on two power sources. M12 models include the 3632 3-plane laser and cross line lasers with plumb points or 4 points. USB rechargeable cross line lasers skip the tool battery. A 165-ft. line detector extends range.

Makita Laser Levels

Makita brings the SK700GDNAJ, a 12V max CXT self-leveling 360 3-plane green laser kit with a 2.0Ah battery. It suits owners already on Makita CXT batteries. See Makita electronics for related instruments.

Rotary Lasers and Detectors

Rotary lasers spin a beam around the full site for grading, foundations, and drop ceilings. Pair them with a detector, such as the DeWALT DW0892 or green DW0892G, to find the beam at distance or in daylight. Stabila rotary sets add tripods and grade rods.

Line and 3-Plane Lasers

Cross line lasers project one level and one plumb line for tile, cabinets, and trim. 3-plane 360 lasers project lines around the whole room for layout of walls, floors, and ceilings at once. Green beams read better in bright rooms.

Laser Levels FAQ

Red or green laser level?

Green beams are easier for the eye to see, so they work better in bright rooms and at longer distances. Red beams cost less and work well indoors in normal light. Both brands and beam colors are listed across this collection.

Cross line, 3-plane, or rotary?

Choose cross line for single-wall tasks like tile and cabinets. Choose a 3-plane 360 laser for full-room layout. Choose a rotary laser for outdoor grading, foundations, and large open floors.

Do I need a laser detector?

Use a detector when the beam is hard to see, such as outdoors in sunlight or across a large space. Check that the detector matches the beam color and brand of your laser.

Should I buy a laser on my tool battery platform?

If you already own M12, 12V or 20V MAX, or CXT batteries, a matching laser saves buying a separate battery. USB rechargeable lasers are a good fit if you do not.
