Generators

Portable, inverter, and home standby generators keep heat, lights, and refrigeration on during an outage. Size by the running watts of what you must power.

Heaters

Jobsite heaters keep a shop, garage, or enclosed job site workable in the cold. Always follow the ventilation requirements for fuel-fired heaters.

Snow Removal

Cordless snow blowers and snow shovel attachments in snow removal clear walks and drives on the batteries you already own.

Chainsaws and Axes

Chainsaws and axes clear storm-downed limbs and cut firewood.

Winter Ready FAQ

What size generator do I need for an outage?

Add up the running watts of everything you must power at once, then add the highest starting watts of any single motor, such as a furnace blower or well pump. Choose a generator rated above that total.

Can I run a portable generator indoors or in a garage?

No. Portable generators produce carbon monoxide. Run them outdoors, well away from doors, windows, and vents, and use a carbon monoxide alarm inside.

Will a cordless snow blower handle my driveway?

Cordless single-stage blowers handle light to moderate snow on typical driveways and walks. Deep, wet snow takes more passes and more battery.
