Blowers

Cordless and Gas Leaf Blowers

Blowers clear leaves, grass clippings, and jobsite debris. Most blowers here are cordless and run on the battery you may already own: Milwaukee M12 and M18, including M18 FUEL and a dual-battery model, DeWALT 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT 60V MAX, and Makita 18V LXT and 36V (18V X2) LXT. Makita also offers a 4-stroke gas handheld blower and an LXT blower / vacuum mulcher. Nozzles and attachments from Milwaukee and Makita round out the collection.

What to Look For

  • Battery platform. Stay on the platform you own to buy tool only and save on batteries.
  • Size class. Compact and spot blowers like the M12 suit garages, decks, and jobsite cleanup. Full-size FUEL and FLEXVOLT models handle yards.
  • CFM and MPH. CFM moves volume of leaves, while MPH lifts wet or matted debris. Compare both numbers in the product titles.
  • Attachments. Flat, tapered, and concentrator nozzles focus airflow for edges, gutters, and stuck debris.

Blowers FAQ

Is a cordless blower strong enough for a yard?

For most residential yards, yes. Full-size models such as the Milwaukee M18 FUEL, DeWALT FLEXVOLT 60V MAX, and Makita 36V (18V X2) LXT blowers are built for larger areas. Compact M12 and 18V models are better for patios, shops, and quick jobsite cleanup.

Should I get a kit or tool only?

Buy tool only if you already have batteries for that platform. Choose a kit if you are new to the platform, since higher capacity batteries give longer run time on a blower.
