The Bosch TS1004 table saw dust bag is a bolt-free collection bag for Bosch jobsite table saws. This is a table saw dust bag designed for collecting sawdust at the saw's exterior dust port when a shop vacuum or dust collector isn't hooked up. Bosch rates it to collect up to 70% of the dust and particles the saw produces.
Bosch built the TS1004 for its 4000, 4100, GTS1031 and GTS1041A table saws, and lists the 4100XC as well. It also fits competitor saws that have a 2-1/2-in. dust port on the exterior of the saw, which covers a lot of jobsite and benchtop saws.
The bag is cloth made from long and short fibers and ships with a wire support frame. The frame does two jobs: it attaches the bag to the saw's dust port, and it supports the top seam of the bag so the bag hangs open and keeps flowing as it fills. Emptying is quick, so it stays practical on a busy jobsite.
This is a jobsite cleanliness tool, not a filter. It is not HEPA rated, and fine dust will still escape through the fabric and the saw's openings. For fine-dust control indoors, connect the saw to an extractor instead.
Buy it if you run a Bosch 4100 or GTS-series saw on jobsites without a vac, or if your saw's original bag is torn or lost. It is a cheap way to cut down on cleanup at the end of the day.
