The Diablo 3 in. Bi-Metal Hole Saw (model DHS3000W12) is built for pros and serious DIYers. This is a bi-metal hole saw designed for cutting holes in wood, plastic, aluminum, steel and stainless steel.
Diablo's bi-metal hole saws are built for electricians, plumbers and HVAC installers who bore holes all day. The 3 in. size is a common size for conduit, pipe, fixture and fitting penetrations.
The 2-3/8 in. (60 mm) cutting depth is about 40% deeper than standard hole saws, so you can finish through thicker material and doubled-up framing in one pass instead of digging out the plug and coming back.
It runs on Diablo's Snap-Lock Plus mandrel system for fast mounting, and the design allows tool-free plug ejection. The Variable Tooth Design cuts faster with less vibration in wood, plastic, aluminum, metal and stainless steel.
