Overview
The Eastvolt EVHT12801 128-Piece Home Repair Tool Set is a general household hand tool kit with a blow-molded storage case. This is a home tool set designed for everyday repairs, furniture assembly and small DIY projects around the house, garage and yard.
The kit covers the core hand tools a homeowner reaches for most: an 8-ounce claw hammer, 6-inch cutting pliers, an 8-inch adjustable wrench, a 6-inch utility knife, a 10-foot tape measure and a roll of PVC electrical tape. A mini dual-head ratchet screwdriver, two 4-inch screwdrivers and four precision screwdrivers handle everything from cabinet hinges to eyeglass screws.
For fastening and light mechanical work, the set includes nine 1/4-inch drive metric sockets from 5mm to 13mm, eight metric and eight SAE hex keys, a 1/4-inch magnetic bit driver with bit connector, and 30 1/4-inch screwdriver bits in slotted, Phillips, square, Torx and Pozidriv profiles. A wood screw assortment rounds out the kit.
The tools are made from steel with a heat-treated chrome finish, and handles are shaped for a comfortable grip. The molded case has a compartment for every piece so tools stay organized in a closet, car trunk or junk drawer.
Buy this for a first apartment, a new homeowner, a college student or as a grab-and-go kit for the house. It is a homeowner set, not a professional mechanics set, and it does not include 3/8-inch drive sockets.
