The FastCap Hole Punch Kit (Model Number: HOLE PUNCH KIT) is a manual punch system for making custom screw covers. This is a hand punch designed for cutting screw covers from your own edge banding or veneer so exposed screws in cabinets and casework disappear into the finish.
Stock screw caps rarely match a specific wood species or color. This kit lets you punch covers from the same banding or veneer used on the job. It handles material up to 0.022 inch thick. It is not intended for plastic laminate.
The manual punch takes three precision steel dies: 3/8 inch, 9/16 inch and 18 mm. An extra bushing is included. The FlushMount drill bit system drills a hole sized and deep enough for a PowerHead screw and its cap to sit flush, and a 1-inch x 50-foot roll of SpeedTape double-sided tape attaches the punched covers.
Everything stores in a hard shell case. Cabinet installers, closet builders and furniture makers who leave screws exposed inside casework will get the most out of it.
