The FastCap Original Saw Hood (Model Number: SAWHOOD WHITE), also sold as the ChopShop Saw Hood, is a fabric dust hood for miter saws. This is a miter saw dust containment hood designed for jobsite and shop cutting, where it catches the dust that a saw's built-in port misses.

Designed by a general contractor, the hood mounts behind the saw on arms with 5/8-inch diameter posts that fit the accessory or hold-down holes found behind the wings on most miter saws. Saws without those holes can be modified to accept it, but modification may void the saw's warranty. For tile saws and other machines without proper mounting holes, FastCap sells a separate Saw Hood Tile Clamp.

The hood is made from thick, durable white fabric and measures 44 inches wide by 31 inches deep by 32 inches high. It sets up in seconds and packs down flat. The fabric is waterproof, so it doubles as a protective cover for the saw in bad weather and contains water spray when used on a tile saw.
