The FastCap TriBlade Utility Knife (Model Number: TRIBLADE) is a compact retractable utility knife with built-in storage for two spare blades. This is a retractable utility knife designed for everyday cutting, scoring and trimming in the shop and on the jobsite.

The blade rides on a heavy-duty steel track with positive tooth locks, so it holds the extension you set instead of creeping back under pressure. The retractable blade is self-locking, which makes the knife safer to carry and safer to hand off to the next person on the crew.

At 6 inches overall, the TriBlade fits a pocket, tool pouch or apron without taking up room. The rubberized grip gives you control on cardboard, drywall paper, edge banding, plastic sheeting and similar materials, and the two blades stored in the handle mean a fresh edge is always on hand.

This knife is a good fit for cabinet installers, finish carpenters, remodelers and anyone who goes through utility blades quickly and wants spares built into the tool rather than rattling loose in a bag.

A Pocket Knife That Carries Its Own Backup

The FastCap TriBlade Utility Knife is a cheap, compact cutter that solves the dull-blade problem by keeping two spares in the handle.

• Who it's for: Installers and carpenters who want a small, light utility knife that lives in a pocket or pouch.
• Why it stands out: Onboard storage for two blades plus a self-locking retractable blade on a steel track.
• Worth knowing: It takes TriBlade replacement blades only. Kaizen knife blades will not fit.
