The Festool SCA 8 provides faster charging of battery packs thanks to AIRSTREAM technology (cooling function for faster charging) and significantly increased charging capacity. The LED-Display shows the remaining charging time and the charging status. Together with the new AIRSTREAM battery, the SCA can fully demonstrate its strengths during high-energy applications(e.g. sawing) that cause the battery cells to become hot. The cooling period is significantly reduced, resulting in up to 60% faster charging cycles. This means that battery packs are ready to use again more quickly and you can continue working without interruptions. For professionals, this means unnecessary and expensive downtime. The new Airstream Li-ion batteries fit all current Festool 18V cordless tools.

The new Bluetooth battery packs communicate with the Bluetooth module on the mobile dust extractor (sold separately, 202097) and ensure that even a cordless tool starts the mobile dust extractor automatically when switched on. This allows you to now benefit from Festool's entire dust-free system when working with Festool cordless products.
