Protection goes past the usual jobsite rating. Klein tested these glasses to ANSI Z87.1+ (2020) high impact and to MIL-PRF 32432A Clause 3.8.4.1, a military ballistic fragmentation standard (Class 1). The lens blocks 99.9% of harmful UV rays to reduce eye strain over a long day.
The blade design uses a wide lens that extends coverage around the sides of the eyes, mounted in a sleek, low-profile nylon semi-frame in black and gray. Low profile matters if you wear a hard hat, earmuffs or a respirator; there is less frame to fight with.
