The Klein Tools 03601 Arc Flash Face Shield, Cap-Style/Safety Helmet is an arc flash face shield designed for electrical work on cap-style hard hats and safety helmets.
The clear polycarbonate lens is scratch resistant and anti-fog. The arc rating depends on the host hat: 22 cal/cm2 ATPV on cap-style hard hats and 15 cal/cm2 on safety helmets, per ASTM F2178-23 and NFPA 70E PPE Category 2. Impact resistance is tested to ANSI Z87.1+S (2020). Universal side slots attach it quickly. It is Made in USA.
The shield measures 10 in (254 mm) by 10.5 in (267 mm) by 11.5 in (292 mm) and weighs 9.2 oz (261 g).
It suits electricians, linemen and facility maintenance crews working within PPE Category 2 limits.
