Overview
The Klein Wide-Range Service Grip (model 16455) is a parallel-jaw wire pulling grip designed for pulling steel, ACSR, AAC and copper wire, messenger and guy strand.
Round jaws with coarse teeth bite into cable from 0.100 in. to 0.654 in. (2.5 mm to 16.6 mm), covering common sizes #6 to 4/0. The steel body has a spring and is operated with one hand. It is made in the USA.
When used on or near energized lines, ground, insulate or isolate the grip before pulling. Do not exceed the rated load, use it for temporary installation only, and clean and inspect the jaws before each use. Linemen and utility crews will find it covers most of what a service pull needs.
